25th Anniversary Gala Celebration

On April 8, 2006 we marked our 25th anniversary with a gala celebration in the Student Union Memorial Center Grand Ballroom. The evening recognized SALT’s transition from an informal support mechanism for a handful of students to the premier program it has become today. We reflected upon our past and began to chart our course for the future.

Among the many exciting events of the evening was our keynote presentation by  Dr. Ed Hallowell, noted child and adult psychiatrist and founder of The Hallowell Center for Cognitive and Emotional Health. Formerly a member of the faculty of the Harvard Medical School, Dr. Hallowell is the co-author of the national best sellers, "Driven to Distraction," "Answers to Distraction," and "Delivered from Distraction."
