Program Fees
Effective in the 2008/2009 academic year, fees for services provided by the SALT Center are as follows:
Undergraduate Lower Division Students
- Students having fewer than 56 credits.
- $2,200.00 per semester with complete access to Strategic Learning Specialists, SALT programs, and other SALT services such as Computer lab, Writer's Lab, Math & Science Lab, individual tutoring, and psychological services.
Undergraduate Upper Division Students
- Students having 56 or more credits.
- $950.00 per semester with complete access to Strategic Learning Specialists and other SALT services, excluding tutoring. Tutoring will be charged on an hourly basis at $19.00 per hour and billed to the students Bursar’s account twice each semester. Students may request tutoring in any class; however SALT cannot guarantee the availability of tutors in every UA course, especially upper-division courses. Students may elect to remain at the Lower Division rate.
Graduate Students
- $1,000.00 per semester with complete access to Strategic Learning Specialists and other SALT services, excluding tutoring.
Part-time Students
- SALT does not prorate fees for part-time enrollment. The fees are per semester regardless of the number of enrolled units.
Pre-session, Summer Session and/or Winter Session Students
- Students utilizing SALT Tutoring services during pre-session, summer and/or winter sessions will be billed $19.00 per hour.
Computer Resource Lab (CRL) Printing
- Fall and Spring semester fees include 200 pages of computer lab printing. Summer and/or Winter sessions include 50 pages of computer lab printing per session. Excess printing will be billed at 5 cents per page at the end of the semester or session.
