SALT Scholarships

The SALT Center offers a range of need-based and merit based scholarships to help compensate for the fees associated with participating in our program. The majority of our scholarship awards are funded by donations from our generous supporters to ensure that deserving students have access to SALT regardless of their family’s financial status.

Incoming freshmen, transfer students, and currently enrolled students are welcome to apply. SALT scholarships are renewable based upon available funds and the continuing eligibility of the candidate.

New Students

There is no longer a separate scholarship application for new SALT students. If you would like to be considered for a SALT scholarship, new students should indicate that on their admissions application and answer essay question number 5 regarding their family’s financial situation. Students must be admitted to The University of Arizona and the SALT Center by March 1 to be eligible for a scholarship. Because priority is being given to need-based scholarships, all scholarship applicants must also file a FAFSA.

Current Students

The scholarship application deadline for students currently enrolled in the SALT Center is May 1. Please note that priority is being given to need-based scholarships, so all scholarship applicants must also file a FAFSA.

SALT Scholarship Application for Current Students
