Hi, I am Angelica Aros and I am the Payroll Specialist here at the SALT Center. I prepare and process payroll along with other payroll functions like maintaining various payroll records, automatic bank deposit authorizations, payroll journals, ledgers and making the necessary adjustments to resolve any discrepancies of current and prior distributions.
I have been in the field of accounting for almost seven years and within that time I have had the opportunity to experience every aspect of it from accounts payable and payroll to internal auditing and government fund accounting. In May of 2003, I completed my Associate Degree in Business at Pima Community College. I am currently a junior at Northern Arizona University and I hope to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management by December of 2006.
I am a proud Pascua Yaqui woman born and raised here in Tucson. Being a die-hard sports enthusiast, I enjoy playing softball and any other sports activity into which I can get myself. When not participating in or watching sports I love to spend time dancing and playing with my nieces, nephews and extended family, "Paquita", and "Suki", who happen to be the most adorable dogs I know.
