Welcome to the University of Arizona and the SALT Center! I truly hope that you will enjoy your time here in Tucson. As a transplant from Southern California, I have grown to appreciate the beauty of the desert, the casual Tucson atmosphere, and the incredible food. I graduated from UC Irvine with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology & Social Behavior and Sociology. I earned my Master's degree is in Higher Education from the University of Arizona. In addition to the SALT Center, my work experience at the college level includes residence life, admissions, and leadership programs. I have been active with the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership teaching H ED 297A, a 2-unit undergraduate course called "Exploring Leadership," and advising students in the Arizona Blue Chip Leadership Program. Within the SALT Center, I present workshops on organization and time management, lead hiking trips for SALT Outdoors, and present graduate school information at the Next Steps Workshop for juniors and seniors. I am a member of NASPA (National Association of Student Personnel Administrators) and LDA (Learning Disabilities Association of America).
My hobbies include cooking, eating, and exercising. I play soccer and enjoy hiking and backpacking in the mountains around the city. Let’s work together to help you succeed academically and enjoy life at UA. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
