Disability Resource Center

Separate and apart from the SALT Center, the Disability Resource Center (DRC), works with individual students to identify reasonable accommodations. Students who wish to request reasonable accommodation should visit the DRC website at http://drc.arizona.edu or call 520-621-3268.

Access Consultants will be available at the DRC until 4:45 p.m. in the afternoon of each SALT Center orientation to answer your questions about their services.

Transfer Students & Current UA Students

If you are a transfer or current UA student, summer orientation is optional as it is geared to students who have never attended college. Please contact the SALT Center Admissions office if you feel it would be beneficial to attend a structured summer orientation.

After you are enrolled in the program you will be contacted by your assigned Strategic Learning Specialist, who will help you engage in our academic support services.

Frequently, the SALT Center conducts a mini orientation for newly admitted spring semester students. Information about spring orientation will be provided by the SALT Center Admissions Team.
