Registration Information and Reminders

The SALT Center ENROLLMENT EVENT helps new, incoming students with the transition from high school to college.

Register for a SALT Center ENROLLMENT EVENT & a UA Orientation

You must be admitted to both the University of Arizona and the SALT Center to be able to register for the combined events. To select one of several SALT Center Enrollment Events, visit the Next Steps Center . When selecting an orientation session, you will be selecting both a SALT Center ENROLLMENT EVENT and a UA orientation. Two dates will be displayed. The first date is the SALT Center ENROLLMENT EVENT, and the second date is the UA orientation.

Important Reminders

  • REGISTER FOR SALT CENTER ENROLLMENT EVENT & UA ORIENTATION AFTER BEING ACCEPTED TO BOTH UA AND THE SALT CENTER.
  • ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED at these events
  • Orientation sessions fill up quickly
  • Each event has a limited number of spots available
  • To avoid event conflicts, check important end-of-the-year high school dates such as graduation, class trips, finals, and proms
  • It is extremely difficult and/or impossible to change an event due to the limited number of spaces available

Disability Resource Center

Separate and apart from the SALT Center, the Disability Resource Center (DRC) works with individual students to determine disability-related accommodations.

A reasonable accommodation is a modification to policies, practices, or procedures to ensure access. Examples of reasonable accommodations include, but are not limited to: converting course materials to accessible formats, ASL interpreting, note-taking, or extended time on tests.

Students who wish to request reasonable disability accommodations should visit the DRC website.

 

Transfer Students & Current UA Students

The SALT Center conducts an Enrollment Event for newly-admitted transfer and current UA students in August before classes begin. Information about this event will be provided by the SALT Center Admissions Team at a later date.
