Undergraduate Application Materials Required by SALT

• 2010 Application


Our application materials are currently available in a downloadable PDF format from this website. Please type on the form, print it, and send it in.

• Essays

  Please answer the essay topics as thoroughly as possible.



• Application Fee

  $15 for Arizona residents
  $40 for non-Arizona residents
  Make checks payable to The University of Arizona
  
  If students are unable to pay the application fee, we will accept a fee waiver signed by the high school counselor. The waiver is based on financial need. SALT will accept a copy of the fee waiver that the student submitted to and was accepted by UA Admissions.



• Recommendation Letters

  Two confidential letters of recommendation are required and should be written by educators, which include teachers, tutors, school administrators, counselors, and school advisors.



• Recommendation Form

  The form should be attached to the respective letter of recommendation.



• Documentation

  Students either need to submit the comprehensive testing that determined a diagnosis of a learning or attention challenge or they must answer essay number 4 describing their history of academic challenges and the support services they have used to manage these challenges.



• Transcript

  Official or unofficial



• UA Admission

  In addition to the above materials, acceptance to The University of Arizona is required before SALT can make an admissions decision.



• Interview

  The Admissions Review Committee may request an interview as part of the application process.
