Stacey Bouffard Headshot

Role at the SALT Center: My primary role as a doctoral psychology intern is to provide supportive psychological services for our students.

Education: University of Arizona, B.S. in Psychology; Northern Arizona University, Ph.D. in Combined Counseling/School Psychology with expected graduation in Spring 2023

Hometown: Watertown, Connecticut

Professional Associations: American Psychological Association (APA); Arizona Psychological Association (AzPA); Association for Contextual and Behavioral Sciences (ACBS)

Activities/Interests: My research focuses on how students in counselor preparation programs acquire and apply mindfulness skills in their personal and professional lives. Outside of my academic pursuits, I usually have an interior design or home improvement project in the works.  I cherish time spent with my far-flung family, traveling near and far, and sharing memorable meals. My little rescue pup, Sophie, makes sure I get a good walk every day…but not before coffee!
