Career Readiness

3 students learning about career readiness from a SALT staff member

The SALT Center offers resources to assist students in achieving their personal and academic goals. Student Support Specialists will help students develop a plan and lead them to resources to help them transition into their chosen career path.

Life After College: Preparing for Your Future

Every semester, we invite SALT Center alumni and representatives from the professional world to attend a special event to help prepare students for the realities of life after college. During these sessions, students attend workshops and panel discussions that focus on what it is like to be a professional with learning or attention differences. Students leave the event feeling more confident and excited about their ability to succeed after graduation.

A professional job environment

Bear Down Network

The University of Arizona Alumni Association has a campus-wide online community that's exclusive to Wildcats called the Bear Down Network. It's now easier than ever to stay connected to University of Arizona alumni, the SALT Center, and fellow Wildcats. The SALT Center has a private page that you can join to stay up-to-date with our latest happenings and connect with others from the SALT Center. The group is open to all current and former students who have attended the SALT Center.

Student Engagement and Career Development

The University of Arizona offers more career development programs such as job and internship preparation services, self-discovery resources, and experiences to improve professional and interpersonal skills. Be sure to check out the Student Engagement & Career Development office here on campus.
