Accommodations

The SALT Center does not provide academic accommodations.
Separate and apart from the SALT Center, Disability Resources (DRC) works with individual students to identify disability-related accommodations.
A reasonable accommodation is a modification in policies, practices, or procedures. Examples of reasonable accommodations include, but are not limited to: converting course materials to accessible formats, ASL interpreting, or extended time on tests.
Students who wish to request reasonable disability accommodations should visit Disability Resources.
Students can submit documentation electronically to the DRC at drc-info@email.arizona.edu
The following link (Diagnostic Services List for the Tucson area) contains a list of Tucson area clinicians who have been identified as providing diagnostic services for learning disabilities. You are welcome to contact other appropriate professionals in order to document a learning disability. This list is not intended as either a referral, a recommendation, or a complete list of all Tucson area providers capable of performing the requested services.
